WHY DO I WEAR TWO WATCHES & WHAT IS THEIR SYMBOLISM?
I ran a contest last week on FACEBOOK and TWITTER asking people to guess why I wore two watches and what is the symbolism of doing so and what times the watches are set at.
Overwhelmingly I received more than 300 comments on Facebook and well over 300 on Twitter!

THE ANSWER IS:
One watch is set to and fixed on the time of my birth and the other is set to current time. Symbolically this reminds me of where my life started and the other watch reminds me of where my life is at and where it is going. Between the two watches is my mind (head) and my heart because those are the two tools I most used to get to where I am now and are the two tools I will most use to guide my life.

WRESTLEMANIA!
I will be attending Wrestlemania at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona on March 28. This will be my first time ever attending Wrestlemania which is something I have dreamed of doing since watching Wrestlemania 1 in my living room with my Mum as a ten-year-old in 1985. KING OF THE CAGE DEAL KICKS OFF WITH A RIPPER SHOW!
The new network deal with KING OF THE CAGE / HDNet / Mark Burnett Productions kicked off with a great show at the Inn of the Mountain Gods in Mescalero, New Mexico.
I commentated the event with MTV Bully Beatdown host Jason "Mayhem" Miller and thought he was awesome. It was the first time we had worked together on a broadcast just the two of us and let me tell you, this could be the start of a beautiful commentatorship!

YEAR KICKS OFF WITH KOTC
My year kicks off on February 12 in Mescalero, New Mexico, where I will be calling King of the Cage live on HDNet.
I'm thrilled that HDNet will be joining forces with Mark Burnett productions (Amazing Race, The Contender, Survivor) for 12 KOTC shows this year and am sure we will make some outstanding television. How can you go wrong with HDNet's team of amazing directors and producers who know the fight game like no other, and the team from Mark Burnett who have won 51 Emmy Awards!

SECOND IN BLOODY ELBOW "Commentator of the Year 2009"
I'm thrilled to have been named second behind UFC's Joe Rogan for 2009 Commentator of the Year over at Bloody Elbow's annual awards.
I've only been on US television for six months with HDNet so it is a huge honour to come second and especially second to Joe who is my favourite commentator.

UFC 110 in SYDNEY
Last year I revelaed on Inside MMA with Ron Kruck the plans for UFC to venture to Australia. I also suggested which arena UFC would use (Acer Arena) and predicted to Kruck that the event would sell out with ease -- I was right.
On Sunday February 21 UFC comes to Sydney, Australia for UFC 110 and I will be in attendance. I will also be catching my mate Joe Rogan's comedy show at the Enmore Theatre the night before. I last caught Joe's show in Edmonton, Canada and laughed my ass off for over two hours. Looking forward to more great laughs!

ROYCE GRACIE IN MELBOURNE...
Spoke to Royce Gracie at Dynamite and he will be doing a three hour mega seminar at my mate Mark Castagnini's gym in Blackburn, Melbourne on Monday February 15 at 7pm.
